I am a veterinarian with a master degree in epidemiology. Since 2019 I am doing a PhD at Utrecht University, on the epidemiology and control of hepatitis E virus in pigs. Furthermore, I am a resident of the European college of Veterinary Public Health, so my expertise is on pathogens of zoonotic origin and how they are transmitted within animal species and between animals and humans.
