Read more I am a postdoctoral associate in the Meng lab at the Virginia–Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, Virginia Tech. I have more than ten years of theoretical and practical training in virology research. My research interests focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms of virus-host interactions and molecular epidemiology of emerging and re-emerging zoonotic viruses. Currently, my research focuses on the zoonotic transmission, evolution, and pathogenesis of hepatitis E virus (HEV) using homologous animal models.
